DESCRIPTION: Mock trial is part of a national competition run by the Young Lawyer's Division of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. In the fall, the mock criminal or civil case is published with all the information student teams need to present the case taking on roles of prosecution/plaintiff and defendant teams. The teams must prepare opening statements, direct/cross examination of the witnesses, and closing statements. Teams will be judged by how well the case is presented by the lawyers and how well the witnesses perform during trial.
